About Juan ...

Juan started as a self-taught freestyle dancer focusing mainly in krumping, popping/locking, waving, isolations, and a little breaking. He and a group of friends started their own dance team during the summer of 2008, before their junior year of high school. The dance team performed in many pep rallies, talent shows, and special events. After high school, Juan started teaching at The Fredericksburg Studio of the Arts, which led to other teaching opportunities at Basement Productions, Orange School of Performing Arts, and several other places. Since then, Juan has been training and learning from professionals in hip-hop, jazz, tap, contemporary, and some ballet. Juan is very passionate, not just about dance but life in general. He is inspired by other people who share the same passion in their craft, no matter what it is, and it’s what keeps him motivated to better himself and those around him every single day.
